Charm City Slam partnered with the Black Arts District, Motor House Baltimore, and Mecca’s Mic to produce Pass the Mic a poetry slam dedicated to recognizing community organizations who are taking action to make a change in their community.

Our organization was chosen to be featured at this event! Meet us at Baltimore Unity Hall on August 27th from 7:00PM-10:00PM. Each poet represents these community organizations and we have been paired with Baltimore’s one and only Obsidan.

The poet that wins this month’s slam will win money for the organization they represent.
